Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their event information, their participant relationships, and the permissions required for every communication they send.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use govern access to Maaya websites, applications, and related services. Maaya is operated by GuhaKrish LLC. By accessing or using Maaya, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use Maaya for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on that organization’s behalf. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for granting appropriate access to collaborators.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase services from Maaya. Maaya is not directed to children under 13.
3. Event organizer responsibilities
Event organizers control the events they create and are responsible for:
- Providing accurate event, schedule, venue, Guest, Ticket, pricing, refund, and contact information.
- Obtaining required permissions before entering personal information or contacting Guests, attendees, collaborators, vendors, artists, or volunteers.
- Complying with applicable laws, venue rules, safety requirements, accessibility obligations, and industry policies.
- Responding to participant questions and honoring event commitments, cancellation terms, and refund obligations.
- Reviewing consequential changes before confirming them in Maaya.
Maaya provides organizational and operational tools. Maaya does not operate your event, supervise your venue, or replace professional legal, financial, safety, or accessibility advice.
4. Event communications
You may use Maaya to send event invitations, RSVP requests, reminders, schedule or venue updates, cancellation notices, and other operational information. You may contact only recipients with whom you have an appropriate relationship and any consent required by law or carrier policy.
You may not use Maaya communications for spam, purchased contact lists, deceptive messages, unlawful marketing, harassment, or content that misrepresents the sender or event.
5. SMS Terms and SMS privacy
Maaya event Messaging
By providing a mobile number and agreeing to receive event texts, a recipient consents to receive transactional SMS messages from GuhaKrish LLC, the operator of Maaya, and the identified event organizer about the event for which consent was provided.
Messages may include event invitations, RSVP requests and reminders, RSVP confirmations, Ticket order, transfer, or refund updates, event plan purchase or activation updates, volunteer assignment messages, schedule or venue changes, cancellation notices, and event-day information. Consent applies only to the event or transaction identified when it is provided. Message frequency varies. SMS is not used for marketing or promotional messages under this program.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. After an opt-out request, the recipient may receive a final confirmation and will receive no further messages from that sending number unless the recipient provides consent again. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS privacy
We use mobile numbers and SMS consent records only to provide requested transactional event communications, maintain consent and delivery records, prevent unwanted messaging, and operate Maaya. We do not sell mobile information or share it with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide mobile information to service providers only as necessary to deliver, secure, and support messages. SMS opt-in information and consent records are not shared except with providers necessary to operate the messaging service, with the relevant event organizer, at the recipient’s direction, or as required by law. 6. Ticketing, purchases, and refunds
Ticket availability, prices, fees, taxes, sales windows, transfer rules, cancellation policies, and refund terms shown during purchase apply to that transaction. Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment services under their own terms.
Organizers are responsible for the event and the accuracy of its Ticket offer. Maaya may delay fulfillment, suspend sales, invalidate credentials, or request additional verification when reasonably necessary to address fraud, payment disputes, security incidents, legal requirements, or event cancellation.
7. Maaya Pro subscription
Maaya Pro is a recurring subscription for one Organization at $9.99 USD each month, unless a different price is clearly shown before purchase. The subscription provides Organization-level Team & access, Templates, Contacts, Portfolio Insights, and related cross-event capabilities. It does not include Maaya Headliner, paid Ticketing eligibility, or other event-specific packages.
Only the Organization owner may start the subscription or manage billing. By purchasing Pro, the owner authorizes recurring monthly charges through Stripe until cancellation. The subscription renews automatically each month. Stripe hosts payment-method management and provides invoice and receipt documents; Maaya records verified billing status and the latest paid amount after Stripe confirms the event.
The Organization owner may cancel through secure billing management. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, so Pro remains available through that date. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, cancellation does not create a prorated refund for the remaining period.
If a payment fails, Maaya may provide a limited recovery period while Stripe retries or the owner updates the payment method. If payment remains unresolved, Organization-level creation, editing, automation, and Portfolio Insights may become unavailable. Existing event memberships continue; purchased Headliner capabilities remain with their events; and existing Templates and Contacts remain readable and exportable. Verified payment recovery or a new subscription restores eligible access.
Billing receipts, payment-failure messages, cancellation confirmations, renewal information, and material subscription changes are required service notices. They are not optional marketing communications and may be sent to the Organization owner even when promotional email is disabled.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Maaya to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, compromise security, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, access data without authorization, facilitate fraud, or create a risk of physical or financial harm.
You may not probe or bypass access controls, scrape the service in a manner that disrupts operation, impersonate another person or organization, or use automated communications without the required consent.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of information and materials you submit to Maaya. You grant GuhaKrish LLC a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service or comply with law.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide that content. Do not upload confidential information that is unnecessary for operating your event, or payment card details, passwords, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information unless Maaya expressly provides a secure field for that purpose.
10. Service availability and AI-assisted features
We work to keep Maaya available and reliable, but the service can experience maintenance, provider outages, delays, or errors. Features may change as the product develops.
AI-assisted features can suggest plans, summaries, language, or actions. These outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before relying on them or applying consequential changes.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Maaya at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected abuse, comply with law, address unpaid charges, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maaya is provided “as is” and “as available.” GuhaKrish LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuhaKrish LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of Maaya.
GuhaKrish LLC’s total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Maaya during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred US dollars. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Maaya evolves or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised Terms here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required.
